CJP Discover Day School Program (DDS) and Discover Epstein Hillel (DEHS) FAQ

You may apply to both programs to determine which will yield the most assistance. You may only accept the award from one program.

DDS is designed as an incentive program for students attending his or her first year of Jewish Day School. You may not apply to DDS in year two if you were not awarded a grant in year one.

You should complete the DDS calculator as soon as possible to see if you meet the qualifications. If you do not meet the qualifications you may apply to the needs-based assistance program by FACTS. However, if your income is higher than $299,000 it is less likely that you will qualify for needs-based financial assistance.

You may apply to both programs to determine which will yield the most assistance. You may accept the award from only one program. You may only apply to DDS for one child. If you qualify for DDS the school will match the CJP grant for the second child as long as the second child enters within the three-year period. If the needs-based process yields more assistance for both children, and you accept, then you will not be eligible for DDS or DCH.
