Timeline for Discover Day School Grant


January 4, 2019

Applications available

Discover Day School (DDS) applications available online at www.cjp.org.


March 15, 2019

Applications due

DDS application must be emailed or postmarked to CJP directly. CJP DDS award checks are sent to eligible families on a rolling basis.


April 8, 2019

Payment due

Deadline for DDS recipient to submit CJP Discover Day School check to Epstein Hillel School with signed intention to enroll at EHS.


May 6, 2019

Tax return due

Deadline for DDS recipient to submit copy of 2016 IRS Federal Tax Return Form 1040 to CJP for DDS check to be reimbursed.

Applicants accepting a grant from DDS will automatically receive a matching grant (25% of tuition up to the DDS maximum) from the school for the second child enrolled anytime during the DDS three-year period.

Timeline for Needs-Based Assistance


December 3, 2018

FACTS system open

The Tuition Assistance Application through Facts is available and must be completed and filed along with a completed tax return and supporting documents for 2017. Also, a copy of your 2016 tax return must be included.


February 15, 2019

FACTS application due


March 8, 2019

Notifications sent

Notification of tuition assistance awards will be mailed to all new and returning students for whom a completed FACTS application has been submitted. All other tuition assistance letters will be mailed on a rolling basis if financial aid dollars are available after this date.


April 8, 2019

Enrollment contracts due

Enrollment contracts for new students are due with a non-refundable deposit of $360.00 per child to the Business Office.
