Epstein Hillel School is committed to making an exceptional Jewish day school education accessible to as many families as possible. In recognition that funding an independent school education can be challenging for many families, we have a variety of financial programs available to make this opportunity attainable for your child/ren.

The school strives to meet the financial needs of applicants through a fair and consistent process.

All families may apply for need-based financial aid through FACTS, a third-party online management system. The school utilizes the reports from FACTS along with any additional information provided by the family to determine the amount of tuition assistance. A Tuition Assistance Committee then reviews all applications. The members of this committee are anonymous, and all applications are treated with the absolute strictest confidence. Information and paperwork contained within the application are shared only with the committee and the Business Office.

Tuition assistance applications must be completed within the designated timeline. Additionally, the school requires that the student is in good standing and the family is not delinquent on any payments due to the school.

December 1, 2017, FACTS applications are available. Visit https://factsmgt.com/services/grant-aid-assessment for complete information.

The CJP Discover Day School (DDS) Program is available for K-8 students entering a Jewish day school for the first time. Only the first child in a family to attend a Jewish day school is eligible. This grant program offers qualifying families the lesser of $6,000 or 25% of day school tuition per year for up to three years. DDS is administered by Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and is subject to its eligibility requirements. Eligible families must have a family adjusted gross income between $100,000 and $299,000.

January 2, 2018, DDS applications will become available. Visit http://discoverdayschool.org for more information and eligibility.

Discover Epstein Hillel is available for families participating in the DDS program with a second child attending Epstein Hillel. Eligible families may qualify for 25% of tuition up to $6,000 per year for a second child enrolled during the three-year Discover Day School period. Epstein Hillel will match a qualifying DDS award for the second child enrolled within the first three years of the first child, for a period of three years.
