The Zach Shwartz Tuition Assistance Fund, established in memory of Hillel alumnus Zachary Shwartz, helps make an Epstein Hillel School education more accessible to all.
About Zachary Shwartz z”l (Class of 2008)
Zachary Shwartz ’08 was a proud Hillel alumnus who served on the Board of Directors, chaired the Alumni Committee, and was the very first recipient of the Adam Madorsky Alumni Social Justice award in 2017. He was the true definition of a mensch and an inspiration to people of all ages. When Zach received the Adam Madorsky Award, he told our students, “Find something you love to do and turn it around to give something back. Even the smallest kindnesses matter.”
Zach’s dedication to tikkun olam extended to his work on the EHS Tuition Task Force, a group of staff, parents, and alumni committed to making Jewish day school education more accessible for families on the North Shore. The Zachary Shwartz Tuition Assistance Fund has been established in his memory to carry forward his passion for community and ensure that more students have access to an Epstein Hillel education.
